Following the celebration of the 22nd anniversary of CRESCER<\/strong> and the 10th anniversary of the project \u00c9 UMA CASA, Lisbon Housing First<\/strong>, we organized, in November 2023, the first edition of \u00c9 UM CONGRESSO, Housing First & Harm Reduction<\/strong>, at Nova SBE.<\/p>\n

The event brought together over one hundred speakers and moderators<\/strong> from around the world<\/strong>, including renowned experts<\/strong> in their fields, academics<\/strong>, policymakers<\/strong>, representatives of civil society<\/strong>, social solidarity organizations<\/strong>, activists<\/strong>, companies<\/strong>, foundations<\/strong>, and students<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We welcomed more than 300 participants<\/strong>, who over the two days of the Congress attended lectures and workshops on Housing First<\/strong>, harm reduction<\/strong>, future policy<\/strong>, corporate social responsibility<\/strong>, prevention<\/strong>, peer work<\/strong>, street teams<\/strong>, trauma<\/strong>, and many other topics.<\/p>\n

We now intend to make this a biennial event<\/strong>, with the next edition scheduled for November 6 and 7, 2025<\/strong>, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation<\/strong>. As in the first edition, the 2nd \u00c9 UM CONGRESSO<\/strong> will be preceded by field visits<\/strong> on November 5<\/strong>, during which participants will have the opportunity to learn more about CRESCER\u2019s projects<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
