POWER GENERATION (POWGEN)

POWGEN is an international project aimed at facilitating the employment integration of Third Country Nationals (TCNs) by offering certified training in the renovation and renewable energy sectors, as well as job-matching services between trainees and companies. It achieves this through:

– Identification of best practices in terms of labour inclusion;
– Involvement of beneficiaries, companies, and professionals in the project;
– Development of skills for professionals working with TCNs;
– Implementation of five local pilot projects (Lisbon, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Naples, and Perugia);
– Establishment of partnerships with companies to facilitate internships and job opportunities for trainees;
– Advocacy for policy changes regarding the labour inclusion of migrants;
– Raising awareness, promoting innovation, and disseminating project results, highlighting the benefits of inclusive workplaces
